Run AMCore-AMC-Manager_1.6.4_x64-setup.exe as an administrator. It installs over 1.5.x and 1.6.x and keeps your existing companies, users and attachments. Back up the company database and attachments before upgrading.

The installer is not commercially code-signed, so Windows may show an "unknown publisher" warning. Compare its SHA-256 with the checksum published on this page before running it.

Main changes

• Plans on the sign-in screen: only the Monthly plan is listed. A note asks customers to contact our sales and support team (support@vrbtech.asia) for yearly plans, offers and discounts.

Everything from 1.6.2 and 1.6.3 is included.

Main changes

Fixes from the first live trial sign-ups:

• Real error messages: when something fails (licence service, PC clock, database), the screen now shows the actual reason instead of a general message such as "Could not create the company".
• PC clock tolerance: a PC clock that is a little slow, or set to the wrong time zone, no longer blocks a trial or licence. Only a clock set a day or more before the last licence check is refused. Moving the clock back still never extends a trial.
• Licence messages: if a licence can't be verified because of a signing problem, the message now says so.
• Popups: clicking outside a popup that has fields now asks "Close this window?" first. Popups with only information still close directly.

Everything from 1.6.2 is included.

• Dashboard:
  • Rebuilt for the whole business: quotations, sales, contracts, renewals, visits and customers.
  • The first row of summary cards is smaller and easier to read.
• Sales by salesperson:
  • The amount each salesperson brought in for the chosen period: AMC contracts plus converted quotations.
  • The tooltip shows quotations given, converted and not converted.
• Your dashboard, your way: hide or show any dashboard section. Each user's choice is remembered on their device.
• Side menu: can be collapsed to icons, and Logout is always visible on phones and small screens.
• Data import:
  • Owners can bring existing customers, sites, assets, AMC contracts and Products & Rates in from Excel or JSON.
  • Templates are included, and rows are checked before saving.
• Free trial:
  • Starting a trial needs internet once. After that AMCore works offline as before.
  • Our team is told about the new trial and can help you set up.

Data and safety

• Licences: licences and trials are now digitally signed by our new licence service.
• Date protection: changing the PC's date no longer extends a trial or plan.
• Privacy: the periodic licence check sends record counts only, never customer or business data.
• Trials started with 1.6.0 or earlier: start a new trial after upgrading, or contact support@vrbtech.asia for a Company ID.

Main changes

• New look: VRB Tech colours, with a light/dark switch in the top bar that each device remembers. The Inter font is now included with the app, so it no longer needs an internet download.
• Contracts: status now follows the dates, moving from Active to Expiring to Expired automatically. Expired contracts drop out of the active totals, and Renew appears when it's due. Only Draft is still set by hand.
• Visits: planned visits can be rescheduled, reassigned, moved to another site or cancelled. Visits past their date show as Overdue. Visits without a contract now show their site address.
• Quotations: any number of lines, lines picked straight from Products & Rates, a status (Draft, Sent, Accepted, Rejected, Expired), and full editing after saving.
• Editing: team members, catalogue items and payments can now be edited. Team members and catalogue items can be marked inactive.
• Payments: the invoice list only shows the selected customer's invoices.
• Numbering: quotation, contract, invoice and asset numbers continue from the highest number used in the company, and a number can't be used twice.
• Documents:
  • Contracts and quotations keep the VAT rate and currency they were created with.
  • PDF page breaks fall between lines instead of cutting through text.
• Dates: "today" follows the PC's own clock. Previously dates were a day behind just after midnight in the UAE.
• Attachments: Arabic and other non-English file names are kept when uploading from phones and office browsers.
• Restores: finish with a Restart Now button, and a second launch brings the running copy forward instead of opening a second copy.
• Access: Company Settings are owner-only. Admins keep full daily access and Edit History.
• Demo company: now uses fictional, industry-neutral data.

Data and safety

• Office network:
  • Security fixes for the local network service. All 1.5.x installations should upgrade to 1.6.0.
  • Uploads from office devices are limited to PDF, image, video, Word, Excel and text files.
  • Invoice attachments need quotation access.
• Users:
  • Technicians and salespeople can only change records that are assigned to them.
  • Users without price access see a dash instead of amounts, including payments. Saving a record no longer changes stored values they can't see.
  • Re-enabling a user respects the plan's user limit.
• Backups:
  • A backup can't be saved inside the shared attachment folder.
  • A restore that would remove another company from the PC is refused.
  • The restore warning now says that the whole database is replaced.
• Sign-out notice: if the licence check signs someone out, the sign-in screen now explains why.
• Database: the changes only add new columns and an index. Existing records are not changed. If the 1.5 demo company is present, it's replaced with the new fictional demo.
